Anthea Cochrane
Anthea Cochrane is the Education Consultation for Optometry Vic/SA a position for which she has held for over 10 years. Anthea is an Associate Professor at The University of Melbourne in the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences. She is the Clinical Placement Coordinator for the Doctor of Optometry program at the University and Subject Co-ordinator for the third year and joint Subject Co-ordinator for the fourth year of the OD. She has recently been appointed to the Faculty Student Placement Advisory Group within the Faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health Sciences. Anthea has been successful in receiving funding for educational scholarship grants and has published in the areas of feedback, professionalism and clinical teaching. Anthea received The University of Melbourne David White Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in 2018. She is also a member of the Optometry Council of Australia and New Zealand Examination Committee.
